Listen to you golf coach, man! That’s why he’s your golf coach! Another tip I could give you is to swing along a downhill slope. The slope will force you to transition your weight forward or you’ll fall over. I use this drill whenever I struggle with my transition and my weight shift. Hope this helps.

Address your ball as usual. Before starting your backswing, move the front foot back along side the back foot. Take your backswing, step toward your target with the front foot and with all the weight on your front foot, make your swing. Make sure you fire the hips throught the shot. Obviously, this is not the proper swing sequence, but, the drill will give you the proper feel of swinging the club with the weight on your front foot. Excellent drill.

Try feeling like your squishing a bug with your left heel.

Listen to your coach, practice, or seek the advice of the pro at your course for some lessons.
Online you never know if you’re talking to a pro or a 20-something handicap hacker.

i would not throw a heavy bag 15 lbs in front of you. what you need to do is go to the driving range and practice. Here is a drill that you can do:
——Take a golf ball and put it up under the right foot on the right side of the foot. it sounds confusing but its supposed to look like your foot is leaned towards the ground, if that makes any sense. From their, take a normal swing.

that drill helps you shift your weight through the ball and not lean back like a baseball swing. It feels really weird when your doing it. when is start leaning back, this is the first thing i do

      hope it helps
