Need some advice on golf swing?

August 19th, 2010

After playing around with some of the computer/camera technology at my local golf course I have found that one of the problems with my swing is that my pelvis is moving toward the ball on take away and then moving even closer on my downswing, which causes my hands to get "jammed" and I end up blocking the ball to the right. One friend suggested that I practice hitting balls with my butt against the back of a chair. I was just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions, drills, thoughts, or swing aids that might help. Thanks

Golf Swing Plane Advice?

July 23rd, 2010

With my golf swing I always tend to slice. When I go to the range for practice, towards the end I usually stop the slice, but by the next time I go, I start to slice again. What are some ways to practice to keep my swing on plane? Any good training aids that could help? Thanks
(I’m right handed)

What should the wrist hinge feel like in the golf swing?

April 15th, 2010

I just began golfing and find that many of the instructional aids don’t discuss what the hands should be doing during the golf swing. My question is should I hinge my wrist towards my forearm or should they hinge towards the sky? Thanks for any help.
